Yacht Club Costa Smeralda

Porto Cervo is one of the greatest sailing venues in the world, and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda founded in 1967 is one of the world’s most glamorous and renowned host clubs. No wonder that world class events return year after year to this idyllic location in Sardinia.

The elite TP52 Class returned to Porto Cervo for their 2014 World Championships which saw tight and thrilling racing around the archipelago landscape. The conditions were variable, with light breeze to fully powered up surfing conditions. Teams from seven nations competed, with the nine yachts crewed by professional sailors and driven by the energy and hunger to win of their owners.
